Quick Overview

Imparts malty flavor not obtainable from raw wheat. Use with rice hulls to improve lautering and help prevent stuck mash. Use 5% for head retention in any style. Use as part or all of base malt in wheat beers.

A good quality wheat malt from local maltsters. If mashing with a substantial proportion of wheat, rice hulls are recommended to help prevent a stuck sparge as wheat has no husk to keep the mash "open" and free flowing.
