Quick Overview

A slightly lighter flavour than the malted rye but still adds the same, smooth, silky and slightly spicy rye component to finished beer.



Recommended Quantities:Up to 30% of total grain bill (occasionally used up to 50%). Suitable for all specialty, multi-grain ales and lagers. If mashing with a substantial proportion of rye, rice hulls are recommended to help prevent a stuck sparge as rye has no husk to keep the mash "open" and free flowing.
