Beerbelly Operating Policies

Shipping & Delivery

We use a variety of freight solutions selecting the most appropriate according to your location and the size of the parcel. These solutions include:

You may nominate a preferred freight solution if you wish.Our postage charges may in some cases include a small packing charge and GST.

  • We suggest freight methods with speed and security in mind. However if you would prefer that your items were sent via standard Australia post to minimise costs, please order manually, and indicate this preference with your order. Your order will be totalled using Australia post rates, but it will not be insured or tracked - no responsibility whatsoever is accepted by Beerbelly Brewing Equipment, it's owners or it's staff for damages that occur to goods in transit with Australia Post.
  • We are not responsible for transit time or items damaged in transit with any consignment. We offer freight solutions that are tracked and/or insured in transit, and are happy to provide consignment details to the recipient. It is the recipients responsibility to arrange insurance cover for their consignment if an un-insured carrier is being used. Fastway Couriers is currently the only freight solution that provides insurance for parcels in transit, and this is subject to the parcel being checked for damage before it is signed for, please see below.
  • It is imperative that you check your goods upon arrival prior to signing for the delivery. When you sign for the delivery, you are accepting that the goods have been delivered in proper and un-damaged condition, and as such once signed for it is not possible to lodge a claim with the carrier if the goods were damaged in transit. So, check first - sign last.
    If the goods or packaging appear to have been damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY - and inform us immediately. Whether we agree with it or not, this policy reflects the conditions of carriage that we must unfortunately accept from all of our freight carriers and is standard in the industry
Privacy & Security

We have a pretty simple approach to privacy with your details. We keep them to ourselves and won't share them with anyone!

Beerbelly Brewing Equipment does not retain any credit card details provided to us beyond completion of the sale other than what is required by law or necessary to prevent fraud.
All credit card payments are processed through our Commonwealth Bank EFTPOS terminal here at the Beerbelly Premises. Any EFTPOS or credit card transactions will show on your statement as 'Beerbelly Brewing Equipment, Pooraka'.

Any delivery or invoicing information provided by you the customer is used only for purposes of your transaction, and is not made available to any other person or organisation that is not involved in this process (ie: anyone other than Beerbelly Staff and the courier or postal service used for your order)

Returns & Replacements

1. It is within our discretion to accept return of a product outside our normal obligations under Fair Trading Act, however please be aware that this may incur a 20% re-stocking fee for any non-faulty item normally held in stock - and will if the item is not normally stocked.
This includes orders that have been placed and paid for, awaiting such items arriving into stock.
2. Items over $100 in value, not normally in stock or made to order will require a minimum of a 50% deposit before they will be bought into stock or fabricated.
3. Breweries require a minimum 50% deposit prior to commencement of fabrication.
4. Items custom made to customer specifics are not returnable.

All purchases are subject to Australian Fair Trading legislation, and we will repair, replace and if necesssary refund a purchase if the goods are faulty due to manufacturing defect, or fail due to manufacturing defect within the warranty period. Please be aware that any evidence of an item being dismantled, modified, or evidence of an attempted repair will void any warranty. We need it back in original condition in order to follow up on it.
If this is the case, please email us and we'll get it sorted out as quick as possible.

We do not refund for changed minds, changed circumstances, or for any other reason other than the product being faulty, in which case the fault must be bought to our attention immediately & the product must be returned to us within 14 days with all relevant packaging and accessories it was sent with. If the product is faulty it will be replaced at our expense, and returned to you at our expense. We do not re-imburse postal charges for a product being returned to us.

Ordering
All orders are placed via the website shopping cart, unless there are custom requirements. This allows us to use our order tracking system, which we have found is very useful for making sure that there are no mistakes or mis-understandings when it comes to your order. Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Payment is expected at the time of placing an order. Unless prior arrangement has been made, no order will be dispatched without the payment being received, (in the case of a cheque, EFT and Paypal payments, until the payment has cleared completely. ) This includes wholesale orders, as well as retail.
Viewing Orders
You may view your current and past orders by logging into your customer account.
Updating Account Information
You may update information via your user account, including changing passwords, addresses, email address and pretty much everything else.
If you can't seem to find where to make a change or you are having problems with the website, please email us at "issues at beerbelly.com.au" . PLEASE NOTE - this email address is for technical issues ONLY and is not monitored by the retail staff. Retail questions sent to this address will NOT be responded to. Any retail enquiries must be sent to  "sales at beerbelly.com.au"  (Please replace the 'at' with '@' when typing the email address in)
